This comprehensive guide helps authors assess if their manuscript is a suitable fit for Proceedings of the IEEE. It details the journal's high standards, guiding the transformation of primary research into comprehensive, balanced, and forward-looking review, survey, or tutorial articles. Use this resource to understand the required scope, synthesis depth, and common pitfalls to avoid desk rejection.

A comprehensive guide designed for authors targeting PRX Quantum. It helps determine the suitability of manuscripts in quantum information science, quantum computing, or quantum technologies. The skill provides detailed guidance on the journal's scientific scope, required significance bar, structure, and open-access submission standards.

This comprehensive guide serves as the final preflight checklist for submitting research to academic journals, specifically focusing on Psychological Science standards. It verifies adherence to strict requirements, including APA 7th edition formatting, specific word count limits, mandatory author anonymization, and rigorous open science compliance (e.g., depositing data, materials, and scripts with DOIs). Use this before final submission to ensure maximum compliance.

A comprehensive guide and fit test designed to help researchers assess whether their empirical psychology project meets the high standards of top-tier journals like Psychological Science. It evaluates key criteria including broad impact, statistical robustness, open science readiness (preregistration/data sharing), and adherence to strict format limits. Use this skill to pressure-test your idea before committing resources to data collection or analysis, guiding you toward the optimal manuscript type (e.g., Research Article vs. Registered Report).

A comprehensive preflight checklist for submitting academic manuscripts to Public Administration Review (PAR). It guides authors through mandatory final checks, including double-blind anonymization, adherence to strict word count limits (≤ 8,000 words), proper abstract length (≤ 150 words), APA formatting, and inclusion of Evidence for Practice points. Use this checklist before the final upload to avoid common formatting or procedural rejection reasons.

A comprehensive guide for polishing Public Administration Review (PAR) manuscripts. It teaches authors how to structure content to appeal equally to academic scholars and reflective public practitioners. Focus areas include establishing the 'Evidence for Practice' bridge, tightening prose, adhering to strict formatting (APA, word count), and ensuring the core argument remains clear and actionable for both audiences.

A comprehensive guide and heuristic tool for assessing whether an academic manuscript is suitable for high-level public administration and policy journals, specifically referencing Public Administration and Policy Review. It details required scope, suitable methodologies (e.g., policy evaluation, case studies, mixed methods), structural requirements (anonymity, abstract formatting), and common rejection pitfalls to guide authors toward rigorous academic writing.

This comprehensive guide serves as a preflight checklist for authors submitting manuscripts to academic journals, specifically targeting the Quantitative Economics (QE) journal. It details critical formatting rules, membership requirements, fee structures, and procedural best practices, ensuring authors perform a thorough self-review before final submission to minimize rejection risks.

Provides detailed guidelines for constructing high-quality tables and figures for Quantitative Economics (QE) manuscripts. It emphasizes adhering to strict academic standards, such as replacing significance asterisks with standard errors and confidence bands, placing exhibits in-text, and ensuring all visuals are self-contained, professionally formatted, and journal-compliant.

A comprehensive preflight checklist designed for authors submitting to the Quarterly Journal of Economics (QJE). This guide ensures manuscripts comply with strict academic standards, including single-PDF formatting, double-blind anonymization protocols, and correct author-date referencing, saving time and improving submission quality.

This guide provides detailed best practices for presenting empirical results, specifically tailored for top-tier economics journals like the QJE. It emphasizes shifting from 'table-heavy' to 'figure-forward' visualization, covering techniques for event-study plots, RDD discontinuity plots, and ensuring all exhibits are self-contained, readable, and follow strict academic formatting standards.

This skill polishes scholarly prose, abstracts, and introductions to align with the narrative-driven, ambitious style of the Quarterly Journal of Economics (QJE). It focuses on making the core research contribution immediately legible to a general-interest, non-specialist reader, ensuring the big idea lands fast, even in long-form empirical papers. The skill guides users on structuring the 'introduction arc,' stating findings with concrete numbers, and minimizing technical jargon.
