This comprehensive guide details the end-to-end setup for Granola AI, an advanced AI meeting note-taking solution. It covers initial installation on macOS/Windows, authenticating with major cloud services (Google/Microsoft), and critically, granting all necessary system permissions (Screen Recording, Microphone) to ensure seamless, background audio capture and transcription. Use this guide when setting up Granola for the first time or troubleshooting connectivity issues.

A comprehensive guide detailing the strategy for migrating from competing meeting note tools (such as Otter.ai, Fireflies, Fathom) to a new platform like Granola. This skill covers assessing migration scope, performing source-specific data exports (TXT, JSON, Markdown), selecting the optimal migration strategy (Fresh Start, Selective, Full Archive), and executing a phased transition through parallel runs and final cutover procedures. It ensures historical data preservation and minimizes operational disruption.

This guide details the comprehensive setup of Granola for large-scale, multi-departmental enterprise environments. It covers creating isolated workspaces (e.g., Engineering, HR, Sales), integrating Identity Providers using SSO/SCIM, and implementing granular compliance controls (data retention, external sharing, MFA) to ensure data security and departmental autonomy.

This skill provides comprehensive guidelines for monitoring Granola usage, tracking team meeting patterns, and building detailed analytics dashboards. It guides users in defining critical metrics (e.g., adoption rate, efficiency score) and establishing robust data pipelines. Users can stream meeting metadata from Granola to data warehouses like BigQuery, enabling deep, customizable reporting and automated weekly insights via services like Zapier and Slack.

A comprehensive guide to optimizing Granola's output quality across three dimensions: audio transcription accuracy, AI enhancement quality, and overall processing speed. Learn best practices for hardware setup, ideal meeting habits, and structuring your templates to maximize AI output reliability and efficiency.

This comprehensive checklist guides teams through the entire process of deploying Granola in a production or enterprise environment. It covers critical phases including plan selection, security hardening (SSO, data retention), integration setup (Slack, Notion, CRM), pilot testing, and post-launch monitoring, ensuring a smooth and successful organizational rollout.

This guide details the usage limits, quotas, and rate limits across Granola's various plans (Basic, Business, Enterprise). It helps users understand the differences between tiers, the constraints on meetings, meeting history, and the Enterprise API, ensuring users can select the appropriate plan to avoid service interruptions and optimize API usage.

This comprehensive guide details advanced automation patterns for Granola, covering three key integration channels: Zapier workflows (connecting Granola to over 8,000 apps), the robust Enterprise API (REST access), and native integrations (e.g., Slack, Notion). Use these patterns to automate meeting note processing, extract action items, and build multi-step follow-up pipelines across your entire tech stack.

This comprehensive guide outlines best practices for securing Granola meeting data. It covers critical compliance standards, including SOC 2 and GDPR, and details technical controls such as AES-256 encryption, TLS 1.3 transmission, and robust configuration of SSO and data retention policies for enterprise use.

Provides comprehensive steps for managing the Granola desktop app lifecycle. This guide covers performing manual or automatic version upgrades, resolving post-update issues, and executing complex subscription plan migrations (e.g., Basic to Enterprise). It details how to ensure data preservation during all transitions and includes managing team seats.

Build sophisticated, event-driven automations using Granola's data triggers via Zapier webhooks. This guide details the event model, payload structure, and advanced filtering patterns. Implement custom handlers in JavaScript or Python to process meeting data, route based on attendees, or automatically update external systems like CRMs and task managers.
