A comprehensive guide for authors positioning robotics research papers for top-tier conferences like ISRR. It helps assess scope fit, define the required evidence bar, re-frame content from journal/arXiv styles, and strategically compare the manuscript against similar venues (e.g., CoRL, ICRA). Ideal for optimizing conference submission strategy in embodied intelligence and foundational robotics.

This guide helps authors structure and articulate the novel, rigorous contribution of their work specifically for Information Systems Research (ISR) journals. It addresses the mandatory ~500-word contribution statement required in cover letters, ensuring the paper clearly advances an IS conversation, centers the IT artifact, and matches the required academic genre (insight, mechanism, or artifact).

A comprehensive methodological guide for researchers writing Information Systems Research (ISR) papers. It details how to establish rigorous evidence across empirical (DiD, IV, RDD), analytical (proofs, comparative statics), and design-science claims. Learn to structure your analysis, handle common-method bias, and ensure full reproducibility using modern econometric techniques.

This framework guides authors on positioning their Information Systems (IS) research manuscripts by joining existing, ongoing academic conversations rather than simply cataloging gaps. It emphasizes the necessity of demonstrating an intradisciplinary move by bridging multiple theoretical silos (e.g., economic, behavioral, design-science) and engaging core IS scholarship to maximize academic impact in top-tier journals.

This guide ensures that the chosen research methodology genres (e.g., behavioral empirical, analytical modeling, design science) are correctly aligned with the core research claim or phenomenon. It helps researchers identify the necessary design rigor, appropriate identification strategies (like DiD or IV), and the level of analysis required to ensure the study can genuinely support its contribution in the IS domain.

A comprehensive guide for planning and drafting responses to major revisions (R&R) in Information Systems research. It teaches systematic prioritization, focusing first on the Senior Editor's concerns, addressing genre-specific reviewer critiques (e.g., proofs, identification, evaluation), and structuring the response using an electronic companion for maximum impact.

This guide provides a comprehensive deep dive into the multi-stage peer review process for academic submissions, detailing the roles of EIC, Senior Editor, and Associate Editor. It teaches users how to correctly interpret complex decision letters, distinguish between fundamental contribution gaps and minor execution issues, and structure a preparatory ledger to set realistic expectations for revision rounds.

A comprehensive preflight checklist for authors submitting Information Systems Research (ISR) manuscripts to the INFORMS portal. It verifies compliance with strict formatting guidelines, double-anonymization rules, mandatory contribution statements, and required reviewer/editor nominations, ensuring the manuscript is submission-ready.

A comprehensive guide for structuring empirical exhibits (tables and figures) for Information Systems Research (ISR) manuscripts. It addresses the strict page budget (32 text / 38 total) by teaching authors how to differentiate between core arguments that belong in the main body and supporting details that must be moved to the electronic companion/online appendix, ensuring all exhibits are self-contained and highly readable.

A comprehensive guide for developing rigorous theory for Information Systems Research (ISR) manuscripts. It outlines two primary theorizing modes—Behavioral (focusing on explicit causal mechanisms centered on the IT artifact) and Analytical (deriving propositions from economic/equilibrium models). The framework emphasizes making the theory sociotechnical by bridging traditional IS silos and ensuring the IT artifact is the load-bearing theoretical element, moving beyond simple correlation to mechanistic insight.

A comprehensive tool for sanity-checking research questions intended for Information Systems Research (ISR). It guides users to test the topic's fitness across four dimensions: IT-artifact centrality, sociotechnical framing, intradisciplinary potential, and level of analysis. It helps determine if the topic belongs in ISR or neighboring venues like MISQ or JMIS.

This skill acts as a comprehensive router for Information Systems Research (ISR) manuscripts. It guides users through the entire academic writing lifecycle, from initial topic selection and theory development to method application, drafting, and rebuttal. It ensures the manuscript adheres to the sociotechnical and intradisciplinary standards required by top-tier IS journals, helping authors identify the next logical step.
