Skill UI

Provides a comprehensive, structured strategy for authors responding to referee reports and revising highly technical econometric manuscripts for submission to top-tier journals like The Econometrics Journal (EctJ). It guides authors on differentiating between validity-critical, applied-value-critical, and compression-risk issues, ensuring the response is rigorous, concise, and systematically addresses all methodological and empirical gaps.

A comprehensive methodological guide for auditing experimental economic designs. Use this when the causal claim hinges on strict experimental control, addressing issues like incentive compatibility, randomization robustness, and adherence to the no-deception norm. It stress-tests the underlying methodology, verifying identification through rigorous design checks.

A comprehensive guide to understanding the peer review process for top-tier machine learning conferences like ICML. It helps authors and researchers diagnose potential decision issues, analyze reviewer critiques along dimensions (e.g., soundness, originality), and formulate strategic responses to maximize acceptance chances. Covers OpenReview features, AC meta-review synthesis, and ethical policy considerations.

This skill guides users in evaluating whether their economics, management, or policy manuscript is a suitable fit for the journal 'Inquiry into Economic Issues.' It analyzes the journal's specific focus (regional development, Southwest opening, policy exploration), checks formatting requirements, and identifies common academic pitfalls and potential submission risks for high-quality Chinese academic publishing.

This guide provides a comprehensive deep dive into the multi-stage peer review process for academic submissions, detailing the roles of EIC, Senior Editor, and Associate Editor. It teaches users how to correctly interpret complex decision letters, distinguish between fundamental contribution gaps and minor execution issues, and structure a preparatory ledger to set realistic expectations for revision rounds.

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for researchers to evaluate their academic manuscripts for suitability in Issues in Agricultural Economy. It covers the journal's precise scope, preferred methodologies (e.g., DID, micro-data), submission policies (blind review, fees), and common rejection pitfalls. It provides actionable advice on structuring and refining the manuscript to meet the rigorous standards of core Chinese academic journals focusing on rural and agricultural policies.

This skill acts as the central orchestrator for writing and submitting manuscripts to the Journal of the American Academy of Religion (JAAR). It guides authors through the entire writing lifecycle, emphasizing the critical 'reframing test' to ensure the work addresses issues of broad, fundamental interest to the study of religion, rather than remaining confined to a narrow subfield. It provides a structured path from initial idea generation to final submission and revision.

This guide provides a structured framework for drafting a point-by-point rebuttal letter after receiving a major revision decision from a top-tier academic journal. It emphasizes strategic communication, prioritizing the Senior Editor's concerns, addressing technical issues in the appropriate disciplinary 'currency,' and maintaining a developmental, professional tone to maximize the chances of acceptance.

A comprehensive guide for structuring and validating empirical research designs (Survey/SEM, Secondary Data, Experiments, Meta-analysis) intended for high-impact journals. It addresses critical methodological issues such as construct validity, endogeneity control, robust identification strategies, and ensuring overall rigor across diverse academic genres.

This guide provides a strategic framework for authors responding to major revisions (R&R) decisions from top academic journals. It details how to plan, revise, and write a disciplined point-by-point rebuttal letter. Key areas covered include prioritizing the handling editor's primary concerns, strengthening the core entrepreneurial contribution, and systematically addressing complex methodological issues such as selection bias, survivorship, and endogeneity.

This guide helps researchers rigorously vet their academic questions against the standards of top-tier development economics journals. It teaches users to identify 'first-order' issues focused on low- and middle-income economies, ensuring the research mechanism genuinely contributes to understanding poverty, growth, and policy levers for poor populations, rather than merely being a general micro-economic result.

This guide equips researchers with advanced strategies to anticipate and neutralize the highly specialized objections raised by environmental and resource economists. It covers core methodological pitfalls such as spatial confounding, hypothetical bias, leakage effects, sorting issues, and welfare overreach. By structuring the paper preemptively, authors can significantly increase robustness and dramatically improve the likelihood of successful publication.
