This guide outlines the necessary structure and high level of mathematical rigor required for theoretical manuscripts in Mathematical Finance. It covers techniques for establishing precise assumptions (e.g., filtrations, integrability), stating theorems cleanly, and constructing self-contained proofs for results in stochastic control, no-arbitrage pricing, and PDEs. It emphasizes methodological novelty over empirical identification.

This guide teaches required skills for positioning mathematical finance research papers. It instructs authors on how to structure the literature review to clearly demonstrate methodological novelty by comparing their theorem precisely against existing results in stochastic analysis, pricing, and control theory. Focus must be on theorem-level contribution, not merely topic surveys.

A comprehensive guide for authors responding to 'revise-and-resubmit' decisions in Mathematical Finance journals. It provides a structured approach to triage referee comments regarding proof gaps, assumption scope, novelty, martingale conditions, and financial relevance. Learn how to write a point-by-point response letter and make aligned, rigorous manuscript edits.

This comprehensive guide outlines the mandatory replication and data policy for mathematical finance manuscripts. It provides authors with templates for Data Availability Statements (covering no data, code only, or public data) and details rigorous best practices for ensuring numerical exhibits are fully reproducible. It covers creating exhibit provenance ledgers and managing computational dependencies to maintain academic rigor.

This guide details the rigorous review process for papers in Mathematical Finance, covering single-blind peer review standards, from editor screening to line-by-line proof verification by referees. Learn what reviewers prioritize—methodological novelty, proof correctness, and financial applicability—to avoid common submission pitfalls and improve your chances of acceptance.

This comprehensive guide details the preflight process for submitting mathematical finance papers through Wiley Research Exchange. It covers scientific readiness, LaTeX best practices, required metadata (JEL/AMS/MSC classifications, data availability), and structural guidelines to ensure the manuscript is fully compliant and submission-ready.

A comprehensive guide for authors writing mathematical finance manuscripts. It specifies the rigorous standards for presenting figures, numerical tables, algorithms, and dependency maps, ensuring every visual exhibit supports a formal theorem or proposition. It advises on reporting numerical settings, avoiding empirical claims, and structuring evidence to aid theoretical comprehension rather than serving as standalone proof.

A detailed guide for researchers tackling advanced financial-mathematics problems. It outlines the stringent criteria for suitability in top-tier journals, emphasizing methodological novelty, mathematical rigor, and deep theoretical contribution (e.g., stochastic analysis, structural theorems) over routine data computation. Use this to refine and scope your research proposal.

This router guides authors through the rigorous, theory-first pipeline required for mathematical finance manuscripts. It helps determine the current stage (e.g., topic selection, proof architecture, contribution framing, revision) and identifies the critical bottleneck, ensuring the paper meets the high standards of major academic journals. Useful for starting new papers or troubleshooting mid-project issues.

A highly detailed writing style guide for academic manuscripts in Mathematical Finance. It instructs authors on structuring formal theorems, maintaining rigorous notation discipline, separating financial intuition from technical proofs, and ensuring consistency across stochastic analysis contexts. Ideal for improving the clarity and academic rigor of complex quantitative research papers.

A guide for transforming abstract marketing phenomena into rigorous, mathematically testable models. It covers both analytical (game-theoretic) and structural econometric approaches, emphasizing the specification of primitives, deriving equilibria, and establishing clear identification arguments for academic research.

A comprehensive guide for the late-stage polishing of academic manuscripts for submission to M&SOM. It focuses on restructuring the narrative to lead with the operational insight, developing a structured, jargon-free abstract, controlling mathematical notation, and adhering to strict INFORMS author-year citation styles and page limits.
