Automates vulnerability scans for applications and APIs via the security-test-scanner plugin, covering OWASP Top 10, SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication, and authorization weaknesses while generating detailed remediation reports.

A comprehensive tool for detecting critical API security vulnerabilities, including injection, broken authentication (BOLA), excessive data exposure, and mass assignment. It audits endpoints against the OWASP API Security Top 10 standards by analyzing source code, middleware chains, and request validation logic. Ideal for pre-deployment security gates, CI/CD integration, and compliance audits.

A comprehensive, multi-phase workflow designed for conducting deep security audits across modern web applications and APIs. This bundle guides users through the entire security lifecycle, including reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning (SAST/DAST), specific testing for OWASP Top 10 and injection flaws, specialized API fuzzing, full-scope penetration testing, security hardening, and final risk reporting. Ideal for compliance checks and proactive security enhancement.

A comprehensive utility designed to assess the security posture of modern APIs, including REST, GraphQL, and gRPC. It strictly follows the OWASP API Security Top 10 framework, testing for critical vulnerabilities such as Broken Object/Function Level Authorization (BOLA/BFLA), SQL/NoSQL injection flaws, and weaknesses in authentication mechanisms like JWT manipulation. Essential for security engineers and penetration testers validating complex microservice architectures and API gateways.

A specialized tool/methodology to detect Broken Object Property Level Authorization (BOPLA), covering two critical OWASP API security flaws: Excessive Data Exposure and Mass Assignment. Use this when auditing APIs to ensure that data returned in responses is limited to only what the client needs, and that updates/writes are strictly filtered to prevent attackers from modifying unauthorized object properties.

This script automates the detection and exploitation of Broken Function Level Authorization (BFLA) in APIs, following OWASP API Top 10 guidelines. It simulates low-privilege users attempting to access or modify restricted administrative endpoints (e.g., user management, system settings) using techniques like role switching, path manipulation, and parameter tampering. Essential for assessing vertical privilege escalation risks and verifying robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

This skill implements comprehensive API security testing using the 42Crunch platform. It combines static analysis (API Audit) on OpenAPI definitions, dynamic vulnerability scanning (API Conformance Scan) against running APIs, and runtime threat protection. Ideal for integrating OWASP API Security Top 10 checks into CI/CD pipelines and IDEs, enabling 'shift-left' security practices.

This guide details implementing comprehensive API security using Google Apigee. It covers multiple advanced policies, including JSON/XML content validation, regex injection detection (SQLi, XSS), rate limiting (SpikeArrest), and robust OAuth 2.0 enforcement. Use this when shielding critical APIs from OWASP API Top 10 threats and malicious client abuse patterns.

A comprehensive security assessment guide and script to test API rate limit vulnerabilities. It evaluates if an API's security controls can be bypassed using advanced techniques such as IP spoofing (manipulating X-Forwarded-For headers), HTTP method variations, and endpoint path traversal. Designed for penetration testing, it helps assess resilience against brute-force or resource exhaustion attacks, aligning with OWASP API Top 10 findings.

A comprehensive guide for performing structured API security testing using Postman. It covers critical OWASP API Security Top 10 vulnerabilities, including BOLA, authentication bypass, and injection flaws. Ideal for building repeatable security regression tests, simulating multi-role user access, and integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines via Newman and OWASP ZAP.

This skill demonstrates how to secure AWS API Gateway endpoints using AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall). It implements essential security measures including protection against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, custom rate-limiting rules, IP reputation filtering, and bot control. Ideal for deploying public API endpoints that require robust defense against common web attacks and API abuse.

A comprehensive security script designed to test REST API authentication mechanisms for common vulnerabilities. It assesses broken token validation, missing authentication on critical endpoints, weak password policies, and session management flaws. The tool specifically evaluates JWT implementation, API key handling, and adherence to OWASP API Security Top 10, helping identify authentication bypasses before production deployment.
