A comprehensive guide for authors on structuring and writing effective responses to reviewers (R&R) and editors after manuscript revisions. It details the formal structure, appropriate tone, and substantive content required to address academic critiques, strengthen theoretical contributions, and demonstrate operational relevance, adhering to high journal standards.

This guide provides a comprehensive framework for authors to determine if their research manuscript fits the scope of Production and Operations Management (POM) and which specific department or journal is the best target. It outlines critical criteria, such as identifying a real operational decision, passing the practice-relevance gate, and strategically selecting a single department for submission, helping authors avoid common submission pitfalls.

This skill guides the structural and stylistic revision of academic manuscripts intended for Production and Operations Management (POM). It ensures the writing effectively front-loads the core operations problem and managerial takeaway, balancing theoretical rigor with practical relevance. The process enforces journal conventions, such as the 32-page limit and author-year citations, guiding authors to move technical derivations to an e-companion.

This guide teaches authors how to structure the Introduction and Discussion sections for top-tier journals with extreme word and reference constraints. It moves beyond traditional literature reviews, focusing on a 'surgical' approach: quickly establishing the research gap, clearly stating the unique contribution, and demonstrating the broad relevance of the findings to the wider field.

A comprehensive guide detailing the rigorous standards and evaluation process for submissions to Public Administration Review (PAR). It covers double-blind peer review, initial desk screening criteria (fit, scope, practice-relevance), the decision spectrum (reject to accept), and the crucial requirement of Evidence for Practice. Use this guide to stress-test your manuscript and shape your paper to meet high academic and practical scholarly expectations.

This tool serves as an orchestrator for developing Public Administration Review (PAR) manuscripts. It guides researchers through the entire writing lifecycle—from initial topic selection and literature positioning to theory building, data analysis, and final submission/rebuttal. It helps users determine the most appropriate article type (e.g., Scholarly Take, Conceptualizing PA) and maps the necessary steps to ensure the work bridges both academic theory and practical public management relevance.

A comprehensive guide detailing the stringent methodological and reporting standards required for submitting medical imaging research (diagnostic, AI, interventional) to a top-tier radiology journal. It covers expectations for diagnostic accuracy (STARD), AI model validation (CLAIM), sample size justification, reproducibility, and ensuring clinical relevance, helping authors frame their work for optimal journal fit.

This skill provides specialized guidance for authors aiming to publish in the flagship journal, Science. It covers the journal's unique requirements, including cross-disciplinary significance, policy relevance, rigorous methodology standards, and optimal structuring. Use it to re-frame and strengthen your manuscript before official submission.

This comprehensive guide outlines the scope, required evidence, and structural standards for submitting mechanistic immunology research to Science Immunology (Sci Immunol). It details how to position studies with translational relevance, emphasizing the combination of human clinical data with in vivo mouse models. It serves as a critical tool for authors to assess the manuscript's fit, adherence to AAAS standards, and overall scientific rigor before submission.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for authors assessing the fit and framing of metabolic, endocrine, or diabetes research for The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology. It outlines the journal's specific requirements, favoring major randomized trials, large prospective cohorts, and population-level epidemiological studies with clear international clinical or policy relevance. It covers method standards, reporting guidelines (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA), and official submission checklists. Note: This is a venue-fit aid, not clinical or regulatory advice.

A comprehensive guide to assessing whether a mental health or psychiatry study is suitable for publication in The Lancet Psychiatry. It details the journal's high standards, focusing on large-scale population/epidemiological analyses, policy relevance, and rigorous methodology (e.g., RCTs, cohort studies). The skill helps authors re-frame their research question to meet global health and system-level impact requirements, covering reporting guidelines (CONSORT/STROBE/PRISMA) and submission structure.

A comprehensive strategy guide for submitting academic papers to The World Bank Economic Review (WBER). It teaches researchers how to anticipate and preempt common criticisms from development-economics referees (identification flaws, policy relevance, data quality) and how to structure the cover letter to maximize acceptance chances.
