Skill UI

A comprehensive guide for NLP researchers on strategically positioning their work before writing. It teaches how to determine the core linguistic contribution, select the optimal academic venue (ACL, EMNLP, etc.), manage the scope (long vs. short papers), and align the research focus with specific conference themes and review expectations, maximizing publication impact.

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for positioning networking research for the ACM CoNEXT conference. It helps authors assess the manuscript's fit, structure the paper for optimal impact, and ensure the evidence (measurement, prototype, protocol) meets the rigorous standards of top-tier CS venues. Use this tool when re-framing journal-style or arXiv papers for conference submission.

A specialized guide for authors targeting the ACM Conference on Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency (FAccT). It helps authors strategically frame their responsible AI research, ensuring claims are rigorously grounded in both technical measurement and social context. Covers necessary evidence bars, scope calibration, and submission best practices for this niche venue.

This comprehensive guide assists authors in evaluating the suitability, framing, and structural requirements for submitting research on wireless, mobile, IoT, sensing, and network security/privacy to the ACM WiSec conference. It provides critical expertise on aligning the paper's contribution type, threat model, and evidence standards with top-tier academic conference expectations, ensuring the work emphasizes the physical or network context.

This skill guides authors writing about programming languages, software systems, and PL applications on how to assess if their manuscript is a suitable fit for the OOPSLA conference. It provides strategies for reframing papers, defining the required evidence (empirical, formal, or tool-based), and positioning the work against established CS research standards for top-tier systems conferences.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting research on software testing, analysis, verification, and fuzzing to ISSTA. It provides strategic advice on framing the paper, establishing necessary evidence (e.g., fault models, benchmarks, real-world data), and ensuring the contribution aligns precisely with the requirements of top-tier CS conferences.

A comprehensive strategy guide for authors preparing manuscripts for the ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing (STOC). It helps researchers determine the ideal fit, required evidence bar, and narrative framing for major theoretical contributions in algorithms, complexity, cryptography, and theoretical computer science.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting academic papers to the ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST). This resource helps determine conference fit, frame the research contribution, and outlines the specific evidence (software, performance, immersive systems) required to meet the stringent standards of top-tier immersive computing venues.

A comprehensive guide for researchers to determine the academic positioning of their manuscripts. It differentiates between core accounting issues (e.g., disclosure quality, audit standards, earnings management) and corporate finance mechanisms (e.g., pricing, funding constraints). Use this tool to ensure your paper aligns perfectly with the scope of specialized academic journals.

This comprehensive guide serves as a critical pre-submission checklist for academic papers targeting high-tier journals, such as *Accounting Research*. It meticulously details complex formatting conventions, including footnote practices, author-date citation styles, abstract length limits, and required article length. The guide also emphasizes critical steps like ensuring double-blind anonymity and adhering strictly to the journal's online submission system, helping authors avoid common rejection reasons related to format and identity leakage.

This guide acts as a specialized router for structuring academic manuscripts aiming for top-tier journals, such as 'Accounting Research'. It assesses the paper's fit, guides the sequence of methodological steps (e.g., measurement, identification, mechanism), and suggests addressing weaknesses like institutional context or empirical contributions. It helps users navigate the complex academic publishing journey from initial idea to final submission and rebuttal.

This skill provides a rigorous framework for assessing whether a scholarly manuscript meets the exceptionally high theoretical and conceptual standards of Administrative Science Quarterly (ASQ). It guides authors on identifying the core theoretical contribution, evaluating the required research craft (qualitative or quantitative), and restructuring the paper to align with the sociology of organizations discourse, moving beyond mere empirical findings.
