Skill UI

This skill is a comprehensive guide for evaluating whether a manuscript in ecology or evolutionary biology is appropriately positioned for Nature Ecology & Evolution. It helps authors check for conceptual novelty, methodological rigor (e.g., macroecology, phylogenetics), and broad scientific significance. Use this tool when determining the best target journal or restructuring the narrative to emphasize general, impactful scientific advances.

A comprehensive tool for authors submitting work on electronic devices, circuits, or systems to Nature Electronics. It guides the evaluation of the manuscript's broad scientific significance, technical rigor, and adherence to Nature's high stylistic and scientific standards, ensuring the work is field-advancing rather than merely incremental.

This comprehensive guide provides authors with deep insight into Nature Immunology's high standards. It covers everything from field-shifting scientific significance and required mechanistic evidence (e.g., in vivo models, scRNA-seq) to specific house styles, abstract structure, and optimal venue selection. Use this skill for pre-submission vetting and improving the conceptual framing of your immunology research.

A comprehensive tool designed for researchers preparing manuscripts in microbiology or microbial ecology for Nature Microbiology. It assesses the required conceptual advance, mandatory mechanistic depth, and adherence to rigorous scientific standards across scope, methodology, and house style. Use this guide to determine if your work meets the journal's high bar and re-frame your arguments for maximum impact.

A comprehensive guide for researchers to ensure network security findings are reproducible and verifiable. It covers techniques for freezing volatile environments (targets, networks, toolchains), anonymizing sensitive data traces, maintaining a detailed claims ledger, and ethically stating limitations.

This guide provides a rigorous framework for addressing reviewer comments on scientific manuscripts, especially for high-impact journals. It teaches how to triage feedback into actionable buckets (Do, Do-partial, Defend, Defer), handle specialized statistical reviewer critiques with re-analyses, and draft a professional, point-by-point response letter that enhances the paper's credibility and maximizes acceptance chances.

This guide assists researchers in transforming bloated or loosely structured academic manuscripts into the terse, plain IMRAD format required by top-tier journals like NEJM. It focuses on maximizing clarity, enforcing claim-first results based on statistical evidence, curbing over-stated clinical implications, and ensuring the discussion explicitly covers limitations and necessary scope restriction.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for packaging and presenting research artifacts (code, data, models, benchmarks) submitted to NeurIPS. It details requirements for anonymous review packages, public release, and ensures scientific claims are reproducible by providing necessary metadata, licenses, and execution details.

A comprehensive guide for stress-testing the evidence supporting ML claims before submitting to top-tier academic conferences. Covers rigorous auditing of baselines, ablation studies, robustness checks, data leakage, and calibrating claims against evidence strength, ensuring scientific reproducibility.

This skill simulates the rigorous peer review process used in top-tier AI and machine learning conferences (like NeurIPS). It helps users diagnose potential weaknesses in a submission regarding quality, clarity, significance, ethical compliance, and reproducibility. It guides the identification of decision-relevant issues that ACs and reviewers are likely to raise, helping authors strategically plan responses for revision.

A comprehensive guide for authors designing figures and tables for Nature Geoscience manuscripts. It outlines strict rules for adhering to a limited figure budget (4-6 display items), ensuring the lead figure immediately conveys the core Earth-system advance and its uncertainty, and maintaining high standards of cartography and data visualization for non-specialist readership.

This guide outlines best practices for Nature Geoscience authors, detailing how to separate essential narrative (Main Text) from comprehensive, reproducible documentation (Online Methods). It emphasizes grounding every quantitative claim, quantifying uncertainty, and ensuring full data and code availability to meet high academic standards and pass rigorous peer review.
