Skill UI

This comprehensive skill guides authors through the rigorous submission process for Angewandte Chemie International Edition. It provides detailed criteria covering scientific scope, required novelty, evidentiary standards for claims (mechanistic, physical), structural formatting, and common desk-reject triggers, ensuring manuscripts meet the journal's high academic bar.

This guide outlines the rigorous, multi-step process for authors revising a mathematical or scientific manuscript following a detailed referee report. It emphasizes the critical rule: always fix mathematical gaps and errors in the text first, and only then draft a structured, point-by-point reply that is respectful, precise, and mathematically grounded.

This guide outlines the comprehensive process for submitting and evaluating Computer Aided Verification (CAV) research artifacts. It details the criteria for earning three badges (Available, Functional, Reusable), the two-phase review structure (smoke-test and full review), and best practices for packaging scientific tools, including the use of containers, pinned benchmarks, resource limits, and proof witnesses. This ensures reproducibility and rigor in academic research.

This skill guides researchers through the critical pre-writing process of evaluating a scientific finding's scope, mechanistic depth, and significance. It stress-tests whether the work constitutes a complete, hypothesis-driven story suitable for top-tier journals, helping authors determine if they need to strengthen the mechanism, collect more converging evidence, or adjust their target journal venue.

This comprehensive checklist guides authors through the final pre-submission review process for demanding academic journals. It ensures the manuscript is scientifically rigorous and complete, focusing on critical areas such as model-driven theoretical advancement, model comparison, data reproducibility (depositing code and verifying fit regeneration), and adherence to open science mandates. Use this guide before uploading to the journal's portal.

This guide outlines the rigorous process of formalizing cognitive theories for academic manuscripts. It teaches researchers how to structure a computational or mathematical model, define interpretable parameters, and derive discriminating predictions that differentiate their theory from rival accounts. Essential for moving from a verbal hypothesis to a testable, falsifiable scientific model.

This detailed guide helps authors assess the scientific rigor and scope fit for manuscripts targeting Composites Part B: Engineering. It covers advanced domains like composite mechanics, manufacturing processes, multiscale modeling, and multifunctional materials. It emphasizes that a strong contribution must demonstrate a clear, mechanism-driven advance from material science to structural application, supported by rigorous, quantitative experimental evidence and model validation.

This skill guides authors on submitting manuscripts to Earth and Planetary Science Letters (EPSL). It evaluates whether quantitative research in geochemistry, geophysics, or planetary science presents a generalizable process or mechanism of broad scientific interest, adhering to Elsevier's rigorous house style and data policies. Use it as a fit/venue-selection tool for re-framing specialized regional studies into broadly relevant scientific mechanisms.

This skill guides researchers on evaluating whether their scientific findings—especially those from regional case studies—meet the global, process-level significance required by high-impact journals like EPSL. It provides a structured framework to test for generalizability, process constraint, and global relevance, ensuring the manuscript frames a true scientific frontier rather than an incremental local observation.

The EPSL Workflow Router is a comprehensive guide that helps authors navigate the entire manuscript lifecycle for high-impact letters in Earth and Planetary Science. It routes users through critical stages—from initial topic selection and literature positioning to data analysis, writing style, and final submission—ensuring the work maintains conciseness and focuses on a single, decisive, process-level advance.

This guide provides strict stylistic and structural guidelines for drafting scientific manuscripts intended for Earth and Planetary Science Letters (EPSL). It focuses on transforming regional descriptions into process-focused arguments, managing word count, and ensuring clarity for a highly cross-disciplinary scientific readership.

This skill provides a deep dive into the rigorous multi-stage review process for scientific manuscripts, particularly in field crops. It details editor scope screening, the single-anonymized expert review, and the specific criteria required (e.g., multi-environment data, statistical rigor, general relevance) to prevent desk rejection. Use this knowledge before submission to stress-test your manuscript, anticipate reviewer objections, and structure your findings for maximum scientific impact.
