This guide provides comprehensive rules for polishing scientific manuscripts to meet the rigorous standards of the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). It focuses on refining language, ensuring structural clarity, standardizing nomenclature and units, and enforcing 'Claim Discipline' by replacing vague boosters (e.g., 'novel,' 'dramatically improved') with concrete data and quantitative evidence. Ideal for authors whose data is solid but whose prose requires academic refinement.

A comprehensive guide for writing and auditing scientific manuscripts according to JAMA standards. It enforces the proper structured headings (e.g., Importance, Objective, Results) and mandates the inclusion of quantitative data like effect sizes and 95% Confidence Intervals (CIs). This skill ensures the abstract and Key Points are concise, consistent, and highly focused on primary outcomes.

This skill polishes academic medical manuscripts to conform to the rigorous standards of major medical journals, such as JAMA, following the AMA Manual of Style. It focuses on refining prose by removing excessive jargon, correcting instances of overstatement ('spin'), replacing casual or causal language with scientifically accurate associational terms, and ensuring adherence to precise statistical and linguistic guidelines for maximum clarity and impact.

A comprehensive guide for refining academic manuscripts, particularly for top-tier journals. It teaches authors how to shift the narrative focus from mere behavioral outcomes ("X affects Y") to the underlying psychological mechanisms. It ensures the writing is APA-scientific, highly economical, and process-led, guiding the structure of the introduction, abstract, and theory section to clearly articulate the conceptual 'why'.

A comprehensive guide for structuring environmental economics manuscripts, specifically tailored for high-impact journals. It teaches authors how to maintain a 'welfare-economics prose' standard, ensuring the crucial link between the environmental problem, the economic mechanism, and the policy implication is clearly and authoritatively presented. This prevents the paper from sounding like advocacy while retaining scientific rigor.

This guide provides meticulous instructions on structuring and refining original research articles for high-impact medical journals. It covers the standardized IMRaD format, managing strict word and reference budgets, and critically calibrating the Discussion section. The core focus is on maintaining scientific rigor, ensuring claims are appropriately qualified, and avoiding the overstatement of findings.

A comprehensive guide for authors packaging their accepted MLSys research artifacts. It details strategies for achieving Availability, Functional, and Reproducible badges by correctly structuring the submission, handling hardware dependencies, and writing the detailed Artifact Appendix. Essential for ensuring scientific claims are independently verifiable.

This comprehensive guide instructs authors on creating mandatory, high-impact scientific communication artifacts for top-tier journals. It covers writing concise, mechanistic 'Highlights' (3-4 bullet points), developing an accessible, third-person eTOC blurb, and designing a single-panel Graphical Abstract. Essential for late-stage manuscript polishing and maximizing scientific impact.

A comprehensive guide on structuring and writing high-impact scientific summaries, specifically modeled after the standards of journals like Molecular Cell. This skill teaches how to transform raw research findings into a single, polished, unstructured paragraph (~150 words). The summary must explicitly name the molecular mechanism, provide quantified evidence, establish the biological context, and articulate the physiological significance, ensuring the writing is clear for a specialized molecular biology readership.

This guideline assists researchers in structuring complex scientific manuscripts for top-tier journals like Molecular Cell. It details the required components—including Summary, Introduction, Results, Discussion, and STAR Methods—while adhering to strict word counts, display item limits, and narrative flow, ensuring the core scientific mechanism is presented clearly and persuasively.

This guide assists researchers in transforming bloated or loosely structured academic manuscripts into the terse, plain IMRAD format required by top-tier journals like NEJM. It focuses on maximizing clarity, enforcing claim-first results based on statistical evidence, curbing over-stated clinical implications, and ensuring the discussion explicitly covers limitations and necessary scope restriction.

This skill polishes scientific prose for manuscripts targeting top-tier journals like Nature Geoscience. It ensures the writing is highly accessible to non-specialists, while simultaneously maintaining rigorous scientific and methodological precision. It focuses on eliminating jargon, condensing wordy phrasing, adopting active voice, and calibrating all claims accurately to the presented evidence and uncertainty.
