Skill UI

A comprehensive guide for analyzing multi-study packages for high-level academic journals. This skill focuses on executing internal meta-analyses, reporting standardized effect sizes with confidence intervals (CIs), establishing honest robustness checks, and reconciling confirmatory versus exploratory findings, meeting demanding journal standards.

A detailed guide for structuring the introduction and literature review for high-impact academic journals, specifically the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). This skill teaches authors how to precisely locate a non-trivial theoretical gap, justify a multi-study research package, and frame their contribution as a theoretical advance, rather than merely summarizing existing work.

A comprehensive guide for structuring a multi-study manuscript, particularly for high-tier journals. This skill focuses on building a coherent set of related studies—rather than a single experiment—to robustly test a major theory. It guides users through sequencing studies, determining necessary power, selecting appropriate designs (longitudinal, dyadic, experimental), and implementing preregistration to ensure convergence and internal validity.

This comprehensive preflight checklist guides authors through the final steps before submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). It ensures compliance with specific section requirements, including masking protocols, word/study caps, APA 7th formatting, and mandatory transparency disclosures (JARS/TOP Level 2). Use this guide to avoid common submission errors and ensure a clean, professional upload.

A comprehensive guide for authors on creating APA 7th edition compliant tables and figures for scientific manuscripts, specifically tailored for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). This resource emphasizes best practices for presenting multi-study data, including self-contained exhibits, cross-study summary tables, and internal meta-analysis forest plots, ensuring the findings are clear and impactful.

This skill guides researchers through the rigorous evaluation of social and personality psychology projects for submission to the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). It assesses whether a project possesses the necessary theoretical contribution, multi-study scope, and generative potential required by JPSP. Crucially, it helps determine the project's fit among the three specialized sections: Attitudes and Social Cognition (ASC), Interpersonal Relations and Group Processes (IRGP), and Personality Processes and Individual Differences (PPID).

This skill acts as an expert orchestrator for authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). It guides users through the complex publication lifecycle by first determining the correct specific section (ASC, IRGP, or PPID) and then routing them through the necessary developmental stages, including literature positioning, study design, data analysis, and writing style. It ensures the manuscript meets the criteria of a multi-study, long-format academic package.

This guide provides detailed structural and stylistic rules for authors submitting multi-study manuscripts to the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). It focuses on adhering to strict word caps for the Introduction and Discussion sections using APA 7th format, ensuring the narrative remains focused, theory-driven, and highly concise. Ideal for polishing drafts and structuring complex research arguments.

This skill assesses whether a research question or study aligns with the scope of top-tier public economics journals, such as JPubE. It guides the user to evaluate the government's economic role, the welfare implications, and the international generalizability of the findings, providing a critical review pass before submission.

A comprehensive guide for assembling a fully transparent and reproducible research package required for academic submissions (e.g., JRU/Springer). It structures the necessary components—including full experimental instructions, source code (z-Tree/Qualtrics), estimation scripts, and de-identified data—to allow any external party to replicate the study's findings end-to-end. Focuses on both procedural reproducibility and structural econometrics re-runnability.

A comprehensive guide on crafting convincing spatial exhibits for top-tier economics journals, especially those focusing on urban economics. This skill helps structure the necessary maps, regression tables, and event-study plots required to visually demonstrate the identifying variation (e.g., treatment boundaries, discontinuities). It focuses on best practices—such as reporting spatial standard errors and making maps do econometric work—rather than running the analysis itself.

This comprehensive guide helps authors select and apply the appropriate EQUATOR reporting guideline (e.g., CONSORT for RCTs, PRISMA for systematic reviews) for various study designs. It mandates the inclusion of detailed, reconciled flow diagrams and fully mapped checklists, ensuring manuscripts meet the rigorous methodological standards of top-tier academic journals by preventing selective reporting and verifying data consistency across all sections.
