A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to Nature Geoscience. It details the critical distinction between the main article text, online Methods, and Supplementary Information (SI). Learn how to ensure your core findings are stand-alone and decisive, while relegating extensive datasets, model ensembles, and derivations to the SI, maintaining academic rigor and clarity.

A comprehensive CLI skill for managing PowerPoint presentations (.pptx). This tool allows users to create, read, parse, edit, split, or combine slide decks programmatically. Beyond basic file manipulation, it enforces professional design standards, ensuring every output deck adheres to best practices regarding text hierarchy, visual components, and content density, making it ideal for automated report generation and pitch deck creation.

Resolve free-text scientific labels to ontology IDs and validate existing CURIEs using EBI OLS4, Bioregistry, and Identifiers.org. Supports annotating biological fields like tissue, disease, and phenotype. Ensures metadata accuracy for submissions to GEO, ENA, and BioSamples by checking obsolescence and prefix correctness.

This operator skill provides comprehensive control over the OpenViking context engine, enabling agents to manage long-term memory, session archives, and external resources within OpenClaw. It facilitates semantic recall, context querying, resource import, and recall trace debugging by communicating with a remote OpenViking server. Use this plugin when your agent requires advanced, persistent context management.

This tool polishes academic prose for Operations Research (OR) manuscripts, ensuring adherence to strict house styles like INFORMS. It enforces critical rules such as an equation-free introduction, a text-only abstract under 200 words, and clear theorem-proof exposition. Use this when your draft is complete and needs to meet the rigorous standards of an OR publication.

This skill polishes academic review essays to match the authoritative, argument-forward voice required by top-tier journals (e.g., PiHG). It ensures the prose advances a central thesis rather than summarizing literature. Key functions include enforcing journal format constraints (e.g., SAGE Harvard referencing, short unstructured abstract), adhering to word count caps, and transforming descriptive text into a critical, synthetic intervention.

This function guides academic writers in transforming rich textual readings into a consequential, field-shaping argument suitable for major scholarly publications (like PMLA). It moves beyond mere description by structuring the core elements: a contestable thesis, the interpretive warrant, the critical move, and the broad implications (stakes) for the discipline. Use this when your reading has deep potential but lacks a clear, governing, and consequential claim.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance on adhering to PMLA (Publications of the Modern Language Association) style, utilizing the most recent MLA Handbook. It covers the mechanics of academic writing, including creating in-text parenthetical citations, building a Works Cited list from core elements, and correctly formatting quotations, translations, and discursive notes. Essential for final style checks before academic submission.

This guide simulates the rigorous, anonymous review process of PMLA, teaching scholars how to adapt their work for top-tier humanities publication. It helps users pre-empt failure modes by analyzing eligibility (MLA membership, non-publication status), ensuring generalist significance, engaging broad criticism, and grounding all claims in verifiable close textual reading.

This guide provides methodology for constructing academic arguments based on textual evidence and close reading, adhering to high scholarly standards like PMLA. It teaches users to analyze the text's language, form, syntax, and structure rather than merely summarizing content. Key principles include precise quoting, demonstrating the inference path directly from the passage, and accounting for counter-evidence to achieve deep academic rigor.

A guide for selecting, justifying, and deploying theoretical frameworks and research methodologies in scholarly essays (PMLA style). It teaches how to ensure that theory illuminates textual evidence rather than merely substituting for close reading. Essential for maintaining scholarly rigor and clarity in high-level academic writing.

This skill acts as an orchestrator for developing and submitting academic manuscripts targeting PMLA. It guides authors through the entire scholarly lifecycle, helping them determine the appropriate stage (e.g., argument development, theoretical framing, textual evidence) and the best venue (e.g., regular article, special feature). It ensures the work adheres to literary and language studies standards, emphasizing close reading and scholarly positioning.
