Skill UI

This tool serves as an orchestrator for authors preparing submissions to Cognitive Psychology (Elsevier). It guides users through the entire research lifecycle—from initial topic selection and theoretical formalization to study design, data analysis, and open science practices. It emphasizes structuring the contribution as a model-driven, multi-experiment program, ensuring all necessary steps, including code transparency, are addressed.

This skill serves as the central orchestrator for Communication Research (CR) manuscripts. It guides users through the entire academic publishing lifecycle, assessing whether a manuscript is quantitative, theory-driven, and methodologically sound. It routes the user to the appropriate specialized sub-skill (e.g., design, analysis, theory-building) based on the study type (experiment, survey, content analysis) and the current stage of the research process.

Provides a comprehensive framework for defending the methodological rigor of comparative social science research. This skill guides users through establishing comparative leverage, whether in cross-national panel data, case-based comparisons, or natural experiments. It emphasizes techniques like causal inference, process tracing, and ruling out rival theoretical accounts to strengthen the study's claims.

A specialized routing tool designed for academic researchers submitting manuscripts to top-tier Computer Science and AI conferences. It helps users navigate complex decision points, such as selecting the best venue (e.g., ICML vs NeurIPS), matching contribution types (theory, system, empirical study), and adhering to specific submission guidelines and review constraints.

A comprehensive planning tool for developmental psychology researchers designing studies that must support a claim of change. It systematically guides users through critical methodological issues, including addressing age vs. cohort confounds, planning for measurement invariance across ages, handling attrition, and properly justifying sample size for growth slopes. Essential for strengthening the pre-analysis plan of longitudinal and cross-sectional designs.

This guide provides comprehensive methodological frameworks for designing research studies in the field of entrepreneurship. It helps users match specific entrepreneurial theories or questions (e.g., founder cognition, financing signals) to appropriate research designs, covering qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods. Crucially, it details how to address endemic challenges unique to studying new ventures, such as selection bias, survivorship bias, and establishing proper temporal precedence.

This comprehensive skill guides users to assess whether a forest science manuscript is suitable for the 'Forest Ecology and Management' journal. It instructs reviewers to check for sound ecological evidence paired with explicit management or restoration relevance. The assessment covers topics like silviculture, disturbance, and stand dynamics, ensuring the study provides actionable insights for conservation and management, rather than just pattern description.

This skill assists researchers in creating methodologically rigorous study designs for educational psychology manuscripts, especially when dealing with nested data structures (e.g., students within classes within schools). It guides users in matching the unit of randomization, power, and analysis to the correct cluster level. Focus areas include ensuring robust cluster-level power, establishing ecological validity, developing pre-analysis plans, and adhering to preregistration standards.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for crafting professional, academically rigorous tables and figures for top-tier economics journals (like JEEA). This guide covers best practices for presenting empirical results, instructing users on how to structure clean tables (three-line format), replace significance stars with standard errors/confidence intervals, and design effective event-study or model-fit visualizations to ensure the core claim is instantly readable.

This workflow orchestrates the entire manuscript submission process for the Journal of Applied Psychology (JAP). It guides authors by ensuring the paper addresses two critical standards: a theoretical contribution to I-O science, and high rigor in design and measurement. It routes users through specific stages—from topic selection and theory development to study design, data analysis, and revision.

A comprehensive guide for structuring a multi-study manuscript, particularly for high-tier journals. This skill focuses on building a coherent set of related studies—rather than a single experiment—to robustly test a major theory. It guides users through sequencing studies, determining necessary power, selecting appropriate designs (longitudinal, dyadic, experimental), and implementing preregistration to ensure convergence and internal validity.

This skill acts as an expert orchestrator for authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (JPSP). It guides users through the complex publication lifecycle by first determining the correct specific section (ASC, IRGP, or PPID) and then routing them through the necessary developmental stages, including literature positioning, study design, data analysis, and writing style. It ensures the manuscript meets the criteria of a multi-study, long-format academic package.
