Skill UI

This skill provides a comprehensive guide to detecting and analyzing heap spray exploitation techniques from raw memory dumps. Utilizing Volatility3's advanced plugins (such as malfind and vadinfo), users can identify key forensic artifacts like NOP sled patterns, suspicious executable memory regions, and embedded shellcode. It is essential for malware analysts and digital forensics investigators conducting incident response.

This skill provides a structured approach to detecting kernel-level rootkits in Linux environments. It utilizes memory forensics with Volatility3 (checking syscalls, hidden modules) and compares system views (/proc vs /sys) to identify tampered kernel structures, hooked syscalls, and concealed processes. It also integrates live scanning tools like rkhunter for comprehensive security incident investigation.

A comprehensive guide to analyzing volatile memory (RAM) dumps using the Volatility 3 framework. This skill enables the extraction of crucial digital evidence, including running processes, network connections, loaded modules, credentials, and encryption keys. It is essential for incident response, detecting rootkits, process hollowing, or identifying malware when traditional disk-based forensics are insufficient.

This automated toolkit streamlines memory forensics using the Volatility3 framework. It is designed to analyze raw memory dumps from Windows, Linux, and macOS, revealing complex threats such as process injection, hidden rootkits, malicious code artifacts, and illicit network connections that traditional disk-based methods cannot detect. Essential for real-time incident response and deep security auditing.
