Skill UI

A comprehensive guide detailing Apple's Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) for implementing essential UI status components. Covers best practices for progress indicators (determinate vs. indeterminate), status bars, and activity rings across iOS and watchOS. Essential for developers ensuring native, platform-compliant, and user-friendly status feedback.

A comprehensive guide for designing cross-device applications across the Apple ecosystem. This skill helps developers adhere to the specific Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) for various platforms—including iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. It emphasizes adapting design principles (e.g., touch-first vs. pointer-based vs. spatial) while maintaining brand consistency, ensuring a native and optimal user experience regardless of the operating system.

This expert guides you through building modern, high-performance applications across Apple platforms (iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS) using Swift 5.9+. It specializes in SwiftUI state management, Protocol-Oriented Architecture, concurrent programming with async/await and Actors, and implementing best practices for type safety and performance optimization. Ideal for developing complex, robust applications.

This expert skill audits and designs user interfaces for the Apple ecosystem (iOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS) against the official Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). It checks crucial elements like contrast ratios (WCAG standards), minimum tap-target sizes, and adherence to modern design languages like Liquid Glass. Use it when reviewing mockups or developing native-feeling Apple apps to ensure accessibility and optimal user experience.
