A comprehensive guide to the rigorous standards for structuring pure mathematics manuscripts, specifically detailing the proper use of appendices and auxiliary material. It teaches authors how to distinguish between the essential core argument (which must remain in the main text) and supplementary technical results, long computations, or background lemmas (which belong in the appendix). This ensures the main text remains focused while maintaining academic rigor and verifiability for peer review.

This guide provides best practices for structuring complex academic manuscripts, particularly for conferences requiring a single-PDF submission model. It details how to optimally split content between the limited body (e.g., 12 pages) and the extensive appendix, ensuring that the crucial theorems, proofs, and auxiliary lemmas are presented in a verifiable and highly readable manner for peer reviewers. Key techniques include implementing restatement discipline and writing roadmap paragraphs for clear verification paths.

This guide provides structural best practices for writing highly technical academic papers, particularly for top-tier conferences. It teaches authors how to critically distinguish between the core material that must be visible in the main body (for the referee to follow and judge) and the auxiliary details, complete proofs, or routine calculations that can be safely deferred to an appendix. Following this structure prevents common writing pitfalls, such as 'hollow bodies,' ensuring the paper is both highly readable and technically rigorous.

A comprehensive guide detailing how to properly categorize and structure supplementary content for major academic conference submissions, such as NSDI. It outlines the rules for the four distinct containers (Body, References, Appendices, Auxiliary Material), helping authors determine if evidence is required for judging a claim (Body), merely supportive (Appendix), or critical for online review (Auxiliary). It also covers best practices for revision packets.
