Skill UI

This advanced tutor covers a wide range of university-level STEM subjects, including Computer Science, AI/ML, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering. It moves beyond rote memorization, focusing instead on developing deep conceptual understanding and transferable problem-solving skills. The methodology emphasizes Socratic questioning, first principles reasoning, and diagnosing the root cause of knowledge gaps across disciplines.

This skill provides authors with a comprehensive guide to positioning their computer science manuscript for the AAAI/ACM Conference on AI, Ethics, and Society (AIES). It covers critical aspects such as framing the contribution, meeting evidence standards, addressing social impacts, and distinguishing the work from similar venues like FAccT. Use it to refine submissions focused on AI ethics, governance, and socio-technical methods.

A comprehensive guide for authors assessing the fit of their computer science manuscript for the ACM CSCW conference. It provides expert advice on positioning, required evidence (empirical depth, design implications), scope vocabulary (collaboration systems, social platforms), and structuring the paper to maximize acceptance chances in social computing venues.

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for authors targeting the ACM/IEEE MODELS conference. It provides deep, strategic insights into model-driven engineering, modeling languages, transformations, and DSLs. Use it to re-frame manuscripts, check evidence requirements, and optimize the submission strategy for this top-tier computer science venue.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the ACM/IEEE Symposium on Logic in Computer Science (LICS). This tool helps evaluate manuscript fit, refine the narrative, and structure evidence (proofs, theorems, artifacts) specifically for LICS, ensuring the work aligns with foundational logic and theoretical CS standards. Use it when submitting highly theoretical papers to this top-tier venue.

This guide helps researchers determine the suitability of a manuscript for the ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM). It provides detailed advice on conference positioning, topic fit (IR, KM, DB, KG), evidence standards, and necessary re-framing techniques to maximize acceptance chances in top computer science venues.

This guide helps authors assess the suitability of their computer science manuscripts for the ACM International Conference on Multimedia (ACM MM). It provides detailed strategies for framing, highlighting multimodal contributions, structuring evidence, and aligning the work with top-tier academic conference expectations in multimedia retrieval, multimodal learning, and media applications.

A comprehensive guide for computer science authors targeting high-performance parallel and distributed computing venues like HPDC. It assists in conference fit evaluation, manuscript re-framing (from journal/arXiv to conference narrative), identifying evidence gaps, and structuring contributions for optimal review success in cloud/HPC systems and distributed settings. Ideal for determining submission strategy.

This skill serves as a specialized guide for authors submitting computer science manuscripts to ACM SIGMETRICS. It helps users assess the fit of their research, particularly those involving performance measurement, queueing theory, or system modeling. It provides detailed strategies on reframing the core contribution, defining the evidence bar, and positioning the work optimally for a highly selective conference.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming (PPoPP). This skill helps assess if a computer science manuscript fits the venue, focusing on techniques like parallel programming models, compilers, runtimes, and multicore/GPU systems. It provides structured advice on framing the contribution, identifying evidence gaps, and positioning the work against related top-tier conferences.

A comprehensive strategy guide for authors preparing manuscripts for the ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing (STOC). It helps researchers determine the ideal fit, required evidence bar, and narrative framing for major theoretical contributions in algorithms, complexity, cryptography, and theoretical computer science.

A comprehensive guide on structuring and writing the 'Related Work' and literature review sections for high-impact, comprehensive computer science journals. It emphasizes establishing the research gap (the 'delta'), structuring comparisons (Classification-Comparison-Gap), balancing literature coverage (classic vs. modern, local vs. global), and adhering to academic citation norms (e.g., GB/T 7714). Essential for authors needing to clearly define their novelty in a cross-disciplinary context.
