A comprehensive guide for transforming complex regression results into self-contained, highly legible figures suitable for top-tier academic journals. It focuses on best practices for visualizing causal inference results (DID, RDD, IV), ensuring that the main findings can be understood by the reader simply by viewing the figure, independent of the surrounding text. Ideal for researchers in econometrics and social sciences.

A comprehensive guide to establishing credible causal identification strategies for economic empirical research. It covers advanced quasi-experimental methods such as Difference-in-Differences (DID), Instrumental Variables (IV), and Regression Discontinuity (RDD), alongside structural modeling. The core principle emphasizes the necessity of explicitly stating, empirically defending, and testing all identification assumptions to meet the rigorous standards of top-tier academic economics journals.

A comprehensive guide for correcting bias in Difference-in-Differences (DID) analysis conducted with staggered adoption timing or heterogeneous treatment effects. This methodology replaces the biased Two-Way Fixed Effects (TWFE) approach with modern estimators such as Callaway–Sant'Anna, de Chaisemartin–D'Haultfœuille, and Sun–Abraham, ensuring compliance with advanced econometric standards.

A highly specialized guide for drafting a rebuttal letter following a revise-and-resubmit (R&R) at top-tier economics journals. It provides a structured, point-by-point framework for professionally conceding, refuting, or upgrading evidence in response to highly technical peer reviewer comments (e.g., identification, modern DID, inference).

A comprehensive guide for strengthening causal identification strategies in empirical finance and economics. It covers advanced quasi-experimental designs like Difference-in-Differences (DID), Instrumental Variables (IV), Regression Discontinuity (RDD), Propensity Score Matching (PSM), and Double Machine Learning (DML). Use this framework to stress-test your research design, address common econometric pitfalls, and ensure your paper meets the rigorous standards of top academic journals.

This guide provides rigorous methodological standards for authors submitting economic papers to the China Economic Quarterly (CEQ). It emphasizes aligning research with international top-field standards, requiring clean causal identification, structural modeling, and advanced econometric techniques (e.g., modern DID, IV, RDD). Use this to strengthen your paper's technical rigor and ensure its contribution is methodologically sound for top-tier Chinese journals.

A detailed guide for researchers submitting papers to China Industrial Economics. It outlines the journal's specific focus on rigorous empirical evidence, policy evaluation, industrial organization, and the digital/regional economy. The guide emphasizes best practices for methodology (e.g., DID, event-study), robustness checks, mechanism testing, and ensuring actionable policy implications.

A comprehensive guide for advanced econometric identification strategies, detailing best practices for conducting Difference-in-Differences (DID), event studies, and staggered treatment analysis. It provides stringent requirements for ensuring causal claims are robust and methodologically sound in academic research.

This guide provides rigorous methodology for authors to structure the policy and institutional background section of empirical economic manuscripts. Highlighting the journal's reliance on verifiable details (exact file names, dates, implementation rules), it teaches how to connect policy context directly to quasi-experimental identification strategies (like DID and event-study), ensuring the validity of causal claims and preventing common desk-reject issues.

A comprehensive methodological guide for conducting exhaustive robustness checks in academic economics manuscripts, particularly for journals requiring high empirical rigor. It provides an exhaustive checklist covering variable replacement, sample window manipulation, advanced identification strategies (like PSM-DID and placebo tests), and crucially, systematically ruling out alternative explanations and confounding factors. Mastering this process is essential for defending research findings against rigorous peer review.

This comprehensive router guides authors through the entire academic submission process for top-tier journals. It maps out the necessary steps—from initial topic selection and literature review to advanced econometric techniques (DID, mechanism, robustness) and handling reviewer rebuttal—ensuring the manuscript meets the rigorous standards of empirical research.

This tool guides researchers in selecting and rigorously stress-testing appropriate methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, or normative) for public administration manuscripts. It ensures methodological alignment with the core research question, providing detailed checks for causal inference techniques (DID, IV, RDD) and qualitative rigor, thereby strengthening the overall academic argument.
