Skill UI

A mandatory skill for original research articles, designed to create The Lancet's signature 'Research in context' panel. This panel forces authors to synthesize their findings within a systematic evidence base by detailing what was known previously (with documented search strategies), outlining the specific added value of the current study, and discussing the collective implications for clinical practice and public health policy.

A comprehensive routing tool designed to guide authors through the entire lifecycle of a clinical or global-health manuscript intended for submission to The Lancet. It diagnoses bottlenecks and suggests the next specialized skill to use, ensuring the manuscript meets high standards of clinical importance, global relevance, and policy impact. It covers stages from initial concept and design to reporting, writing, and rebuttal.

A comprehensive guide for authors applying machine learning techniques to healthcare. It helps authors frame their research to meet the high standards of top ML4H conferences, covering biomedical data leakage, confounding effects, required evidence standards, and optimal submission strategies.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting PLOS Medicine. It outlines the journal's scope, required methodological rigor (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE), house style, and essential pre-submission checks. Use this when assessing if a clinical, public health, or epidemiological manuscript meets the journal's high open-access standards.

This skill provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating whether a clinical medicine or global-health manuscript is suitable for publication in The Lancet. It guides authors on refining the manuscript's framing, ensuring methodological rigor (e.g., PRISMA, STROBE), and adhering to the journal's specific house style and high editorial standards related to global health and health equity.

A comprehensive guide for researchers on assessing the suitability of digital health, AI/ML, or health informatics manuscripts for The Lancet Digital Health. It outlines the journal's strict standards for clinical rigor, external validation, reporting guidelines (TRIPOD, CONSORT-AI), and evidence required for publication.

A comprehensive guide for authors to determine if their research proposal or manuscript meets the high standards and specific framing required by The Lancet Infectious Diseases. It covers scope fit, methodological evidence bars (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE), structural requirements, and global health implications, helping authors re-frame their work for maximum impact in this prestigious journal.

A comprehensive guide to assessing whether a mental health or psychiatry study is suitable for publication in The Lancet Psychiatry. It details the journal's high standards, focusing on large-scale population/epidemiological analyses, policy relevance, and rigorous methodology (e.g., RCTs, cohort studies). The skill helps authors re-frame their research question to meet global health and system-level impact requirements, covering reporting guidelines (CONSORT/STROBE/PRISMA) and submission structure.

This guide assists researchers in determining the suitability of their study for The Lancet Public Health. It outlines the scope, emphasizing population-level interventions, global epidemiology, and health policy. It details stringent requirements for methodology, reporting guidelines (STROBE, CONSORT, PRISMA), addressing biases, and adhering to specialized journal house styles and submission protocols.

This guide provides a comprehensive framework for authors to articulate the unique and marginal contribution of their research within the highly specialized field of health economics. It teaches how to frame findings against canonical literature, identify specific gaps, and structure the argument to satisfy expert reviewers, ensuring the paper's novelty is clearly demonstrated.

This skill helps diagnose the health and gather comprehensive status reports for the Ruflo system, including the MCP server and active agents. It provides a read-only workflow to check system status or, when explicitly requested, performs a non-destructive repair and reports the changes.

This tool provides a comprehensive, multi-faceted audit of a codebase's health. It scores the project across critical areas like security vulnerabilities, exposed secrets, dependency risks, and structural integrity. Ideal for senior engineers performing pre-commit or pre-release quality assessments to identify weak spots and generate a prioritized remediation plan.
