Skill UI

Maps architectural components within a codebase, computes statement-based size metrics, flags oversized or undersized modules, and generates an inventory to guide decomposition planning.

This skill provides a deep framework for validating the spatial composition and technical integrity of a UI. It moves beyond simple visual checks, emphasizing that the output must be rendered and critically assessed at various viewport sizes. Key focus areas include detecting subtle design flaws like overlaps and imbalances, and most critically, implementing mandatory horizontal overflow checks (`scrollWidth`) to ensure the layout remains flawless across all device widths.

Assess and manage investment risk using the neural-trader risk engine. This tool calculates critical metrics such as Value at Risk (VaR), Conditional VaR (CVaR), and Sharpe ratio for both single positions and entire portfolios. It also optimizes position sizing using methods like Kelly criterion and checks for market circuit breaker triggers (e.g., high correlation spikes or volatility regime shifts) to ensure robust trading decisions and minimize exposure.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for authors targeting the ACM SIGPLAN POPL conference. It helps authors strategically position their programming language theory work, covering core areas like type systems, semantics, and formal reasoning. It ensures manuscripts are reframed to meet the rigorous standards of a top-tier academic conference, emphasizing precise formal contributions and clear theoretical significance.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the Annual Review of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ARA&A). It details the journal's unique positioning as a high-impact, invited review venue, emphasizing that it publishes critical syntheses, not primary research. Use this tool to scope, frame, and check the evidence bar, house style, and submission requirements for authoritative, cross-disciplinary astronomical reviews.

A detailed guide for authors writing the Related Work section of an Automated Software Engineering (ASE) paper. It teaches the crucial 'delta argument' methodology, emphasizing that positioning must be against prior automated tools, covering multiple SE literature lanes, and conducting fair, head-to-head empirical comparisons to clearly delineate the novelty of the proposed work.

A comprehensive guide for authors writing related work sections for top-tier systems conferences (e.g., ATC). It teaches how to accurately position a new system relative to existing literature, emphasizing delta-first comparisons, covering adjacent subareas, and adhering to strict double-blind citation protocols. Essential for academic rigor in systems research.

This guide helps authors position their machine learning systems manuscripts for the rigorous Conference on Machine Learning and Systems (MLSys). It details the venue's specific focus on system-level contributions, including training/inference infrastructure, compilers, data systems, and hardware-aware ML. Learn how to frame your work to appeal to systems reviewers by emphasizing measurable impacts on capability, cost, reliability, or deployment scale.

This guide serves as a comprehensive fit check for manuscripts targeting the journal Economic Policy. It outlines the journal's unique positioning as a leading European policy-oriented venue, emphasizing rigorous yet accessible analysis. It provides detailed guidance on the Panel presentation route, scope limitations (European/international policy questions), required methodological depth, and house style conventions, ensuring the paper is policy-relevant rather than merely theoretical.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting visualization research to the EuroVis conference. It provides expert advice on conference positioning, emphasizing specialist novelty and clear analytic value. The skill covers required evidence standards, contribution framing, and differentiating the work from other top venues like IEEE VIS, helping authors optimize their submission strategy.

This guide helps researchers evaluate the suitability of their electric power system manuscripts for leading journals like IEEE Transactions on Power Systems (TPWRS). It details the required 'system-level methodological contribution' standard, emphasizing validation through credible case studies, adherence to standard test systems, and positioning the work within core power system domains (e.g., stability, optimal power flow, renewables integration).

A comprehensive guide for researchers targeting Nature Astronomy. This skill helps authors frame their astrophysical or cosmological findings to meet the journal's high standards, emphasizing broad conceptual significance over narrow sub-field advancements. It covers scope fit, structural requirements (e.g., narrative flow, abstract writing), statistical rigor, and common pitfalls like desk-reject triggers, ensuring submissions appeal to a wide, expert audience.
