Skill UI

This skill guides authors and researchers on how to strategically position their computer graphics, rendering, or visual computing work for the ACM SIGGRAPH conference. It covers core fit assessment, required evidence (visual, mathematical, or system), manuscript reframing from journal/arXiv styles, and navigating venue-specific submission requirements. Use this tool to improve your conference submission strategy and maximize visibility among top graphics reviewers.

This skill provides comprehensive strategic guidance for authors targeting ACM SIGGRAPH Asia. It helps assess a computer graphics manuscript's fit, required evidence (visualization, ablations, datasets), and structural positioning to meet the high novelty bar of this flagship venue. Use it for venue selection, manuscript re-framing, and developing a robust submission strategy against close competitors like SIGGRAPH or Eurographics.

This guide helps authors assess the suitability and optimal framing of their computer animation manuscript for the ACM SIGGRAPH/Eurographics Symposium on Computer Animation (SCA). It provides strategic advice on required evidence, scope calibration, contribution types (e.g., physics simulation, character motion, crowds), and how to position the work against top-tier CS conference standards. Use this when submitting animation-related research.

A comprehensive guide for positioning research manuscripts for the ACM SIGGRAPH I3D Symposium. It covers core topics like real-time rendering, interactive 3D systems, and GPU algorithms, advising authors on how to frame their work, structure evidence, and compare it against related academic venues to maximize submission success.

This guide details the process for achieving the Graphics Replicability Stamp (GRSI) or Code Replicability in Computer Graphics (CRCG) recognition for accepted SIGGRAPH/TOG papers. Unlike standard artifact badging, this community effort verifies that a volunteer can successfully run the code and reproduce the paper's key results, covering necessary steps like ensuring determinism, packaging assets, and long-term archiving.

This guide details the strategic process for writing a technical rebuttal (e.g., for SIGGRAPH), focusing on correcting factual errors and answering specific reviewer questions under strict constraints (e.g., 1000 words, text-only). It also outlines the required steps for the second-stage revision after conditional acceptance, ensuring authors address all committee requirements.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing a SIGGRAPH paper for final publication in ACM Transactions on Graphics (TOG). It details the rigorous requirements beyond simple revisions, covering essential journal metadata (DOI, ACM rights, CCS concepts), correct formatting, permanent archiving of code/data, and finalizing supplemental media for professional publication.

A comprehensive guide for structuring research papers, particularly in computer graphics and visualization fields (like SIGGRAPH). It dictates how to match technical claims (e.g., 'higher quality,' 'faster') to verifiable evidence, including head-to-head comparisons against State-of-the-Art (SOTA), detailed metric reporting (PSNR, SSIM, Hausdorff), performance timing linked to specific hardware, and robust user studies. Essential for achieving academic rigor and pre-empting domain reviewer objections.

Provides a comprehensive guide on structuring the 'Related Work' section for top-tier computer graphics conferences like SIGGRAPH. It teaches authors how to position a new contribution based on 'capability delta' (what prior methods fail to do) rather than chronology, covering specialized technical lanes (rendering, geometry, AI for graphics) and managing complex academic attribution.

A comprehensive guide for computer graphics researchers detailing how to achieve result-level reproducibility, especially for major conferences like SIGGRAPH. It emphasizes pinning all provenance—including assets, random seeds, hardware stacks, and hyperparameters—and methodologies for handling non-determinism in floating-point math and stochastic simulations, ensuring that the reported figures and timings can be regenerated by any reader.

This comprehensive guide breaks down the complex SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia technical paper review pipeline. It covers the single 6-point scoring scale, the multi-reviewer structure, the rebuttal process, committee decisions, and the dual-track (Journal vs. Conference) outcomes. Use this to understand where authors can exert influence and how to prepare submissions to meet the highest academic standards.

A comprehensive guide for auditing SIGGRAPH technical paper submissions. It details critical deadlines (two-step process), required formatting (ACM acmart, page limits), and necessary supplementary materials like videos and representative images. Use this checklist before finalizing your submission to ensure compliance and avoid mechanical rejection.
